Niky Price artist

Niky is an observational artist based in the UK who primarily paints in oil, drawing inspiration from her environment. She works both en plein air and in the studio, using her sketches, memories and photographs to create her studio work. Niky was born in Liverpool and has lived in almost every corner of England, most recently in London and now in rural Kent. She is surrounded by beautiful countryside, but also paints in coastal and urban settings in the UK and further afield, focusing on capturing the light. She is passionate about sketching, both people and her surroundings, and makes this part of her daily practice.
